Training Objectives

Thisprogram is conducted with four cardinal principles, reform and opening-up toeducated student to have the strict truth-seeking attitude, moral,intellectual, physical all-round development. It will make contribution to thesocialism Chinese construction. The specific objectives are: To master thesolid theoretical basis, the economics of national economy managementexpertise, a necessary analysis skills, a foreign language, and can beskillfully use of information and network technology to carry out the researchwork; then,to develop an independent research ability that can investigate,analyze and solve the real economic problems with relevant policy; and to beable to work in university, independent research institute or other relavantorganizations.

Lengthof study

Thisprogram will be completed within 3 years, it is employed the flexible educatingand point system as well. The module learning hours and dissertation projectare delivered equally regarding study time. For those student who complete themodules, obtain the credit and be granted by the school can be graduated inadvance. Students who are failed in learning, can ask for deferment as well,please be noticed the the length of overall study will not be exceed 4years(suspension of schooling).

DissertationProject Requirement

Students will be giving a pass if the average modulegrade greater than 75 at the first place, student will be granted to enter thedissertation stage once then completed the requested credit and get thepermission from their supervisors. Please be noticed, students majored inEconomics should at least obtain 50 credit, and non-Economics students shouldat least obtain 53 credit. The procedure of the dissertation: student willstart at the end of the third semester, then they can completed theirdissertation during the semester 4 and 5, they will enter the dissertationdefense at the end of semester 5.

Educating Methodology

   Three educating methods will be combined forstudents education. They are individual guidance with collective training;classroom teaching and extracurricular counseling, the combination of theoryand practice of combining the training modes.

Students will beassigned a supervisor within one month after the enrollment, they will engagethe scientific research, academic conferences, teaching research consultancyand other activities under supervisor guidance, so that the practical researchability can be developed.
