1. Educational Objectives

This major is based on the guide of “The plan outline of the national medium and long-term education reformation and development from 2010 to 2020”, fully implementing the national education policy, following the rules of education, adhering to Chinese and Western culture and implementing international education; It also strengthen the practice teaching, aiming at improving the study ability, practical capability, ability of social adaptation, creativity and communication skills. The candidates of the major are educated to have excellent English skills, latest knowledge, strong capability and better communication skills. The goal of the major is to cultivate advanced international inter-disciplinary talents who can adapt to the development of society and economy, possess the modern management theory, are familiar with the knowledge of management, economics and laws, understand the latest achievements of the international and domestic modern management, grasp the basic theories and methods of modern management and can work, teach or research in various kinds of business, institutes and government.

2. Teaching Aims


1) Grasp the basic theory and skills of business management in the market-oriented economy, be familiar with the basic knowledge of economics, finance, accounting and laws in this field and understand the theory and development trend in this area;

2) Grasp the qualitative and quantitative analytical methods;

3) Be familiar with the rules, strategies and laws in China and over the world.

Abilities and Skills

1) Have strong ability to express ideas, communicate with people and analyze and solve problems in practical management;

2) Can apply English to listening, speaking, reading and writing skillfully;

3) Can use computer and other information technology devices to do business activities; Grasp the basic reference searching and enquiry methods; Have some ability to research and work in practice.

Core Curricula: Management, Accounting, Marketing, Financial management, Human resources management, Management information system, Strategic management, Production and operation management, International business management and Organizational behavior leadership.

4. Practice

It includes the practical teaching which is matched with theoretical teaching and reflects relevant basic knowledge and skillssuch as internship, thesis, experimental courses, social survey, social practice, various kinds of production internship, course design ,comprehensive experiment and other academic activities.
