Administration Management (Real Estate Marketing Management Oriented)

1. Educational Objectives

Taking “National Outline Program of Medium and Long-Term Education Reform and Development” as a guide, the major fully implements the national education policies, follows the education law, insists combination of east and west, implements international holistic education, strengthens practical teaching, focuses on improvement of learning ability, practical ability, adaptive ability, innovative ability, communication ability, aiming to develop talents with “proficient in English, armed with new knowledge, skilled in communication”, as well as with high social responsibility, sense of world citizen, occupational competitive advantage, sustainable development foundation. This major aims to develop international inter-disciplinary talents with high moral, intelligence, fitness level and aesthetics that can adapt the market requirements, with knowledge about civil engineering, economy, management and law, with basic ability about real estate operational management. Also, this major develops students, who are able to meet requirements of market economy development, are able to do the job about real estate development, operation, valuation, cost as well as comprehensive service of real estate.

2. Teaching Aims

Knowledge

1) Master the basic theory and technique about real estate management, familiarizing the basic knowledge of economy, finance, accounting and law which are related with real estate management, understanding the theoretical forefront and developing dynamics.

2) Master qualitative and quantitative analysis.

3) Be with ability to listen, speak, read and write in English, and to use computer to carry out business activity; to master the method of literature search, data query.

Abilities and Skills

      Be with ability of expressing, communicating, analyzing and resolving practical problem.

Characteristics

1) Be with correct quality and high personal and social responsibility.

2) Be with high cooperation spirit, encouragement to innovation, perceptional ability about new things, new environment, and new concept.

Core Curricula: Real Estate Development and Management, Real Estate Finance, Building Engineering, Construction Budget, Marketing, Real Estate Marketing and Practices, Valuation, Real Estate Brokerage and Practices, Property Management

4. Practice

Including practical teaching matched with course theory (listening, computer, case study, conservation and writing, physical class), and practical teaching that reflect the basic ability to apply basic real estate theory and technique in to practice (working as an intern, graduation dissertation, experiment course, social survey, social practice, course designing, comprehensive experiment and other academic activities)
