1. Educational Objectives

Fulfill state educational policies and embrace a combination of both Chinese and western academic elements to realize an internationalized holistic education using Outline of China's National Plan for Medium and Long-Term Education Reform and Development (2010-2020)'as a primary guide.

Foster in students the ability to not only to improve their academic skills including creative thinking, excellent oral English, and strong communication aptitudes, but also to develop their social skills, for a greater sense of social responsibility and an awareness of socioeconomic development needs.

Give students the opportunity to master professional accounting and auditing skills as well as the theoretical knowledge and application of tourism management. Enable to students to have basic knowledge of tourism management and have the necessary competencies to succeed in the areas of tourism management in the enterprises of travel agencies, restaurants and scenic spots and governmental departments.

To grasp the basic theory and knowledge in tourism management disciplines; to master the methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis of research on problems of management in tourism

Abilities and Skills

Having the skills to analyze and solve problems in tourism management; being accessed with strong interpersonal communication skills and coordination abilities; being proficient in English; being adept in computer and other modern information tools for business activities

Characteristics

To be healthy both physically and mentally, and meet the qualification standards for college students physical training and psychological quality; to possess high sense of social responsibility and global consciousness
